Did you know that you can buy prints of photographs from Akimitsu Takagi‘s archive on tattooing in Tokyo in the 1950s?
Two formats are available:
30 x 30 cm / price: €450
50 x 50 cm / price: €650
Prints made according to the rules of the art
All prints are made from the original negative (ca.1955), in agreement with the rights holders.
The prints are traditionally handmade by Pierluigi ‘Pilou’ Giannetti on baryta paper for optimum conservation over time.
Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
By purchasing a print from this archive, you are not only acquiring an authentic document of the history of tattooing, but also a work of art. What’s more, you’ll be supporting independent research into tattooing.
