Following the success of the tattoo writer in 2022, Akimitsu Takagi‘s book of photographs of tattooing in Tokyo in the 1950s will be reprinted in the first quarter of 2023!
As with the first edition, this second print run will be handled by EBS. The Italian printer specialises in beautiful books and is a benchmark in the world of photography, particularly black and white photography. The content (200p., 134 photographs, bilingual French-English) and format will be identical.

This second edition of the book, available in April 2023, is offered in two versions: standard and limited collector’s edition.
– Standard at €62 + postage.
– Collector in a limited edition of 50 copies (2 x 25) including the signed book plus a 13×18 silver print on baryta paper to choose from two images. Each print, made by French master printer Pierluigi – Pilou- Giannetti, is numbered and authenticated with a dry stamp. Price: €250 + postage.
